The CP-09-3E is a straight-stream aerial nozzle designed for aircraft speeds of 140 mph and above, though it also performs excellently at 130 mph. It features a poly body (CPA203-B) paired with a stainless steel selector and stainless steel 3-way deflector, giving operators the higher flow capacity of the poly body with the durability of stainless steel internals. Like all straight stream nozzles in the CP lineup, it can produce a range of droplet spectrums from very coarse to fine, depending on deflection angle.
The nozzle features a stainless steel four-orifice selector plate with sizes of .062, .078, .125, and .172, with shut-off, and a built-in 9° angle. The stainless steel 3-way deflector offers straight-stream deflection planes of 0°, 5°, and 30°, allowing operators to dial in droplet spectra from very coarse at 0° to finer at 30°. Flow rates range from 0.57 to 4.13 GPM, at 30-60 psi, depending on the selected orifice size and operating pressure.
The CP-09-3E works best across a medium to high range of air speeds and is particularly well suited for fast fixed-wing aircraft, where the standard 03 nozzles are less effective. All nozzle parts are replaceable for long service life. Use the CP App or the Aerial Nozzle Flowrates Reference Chart to find the optimal orifice and pressure setting for your target GPA.
